Tulip Festival ~ Woodburn Oregon

This past weekend our family went to Woodburn Oregon to the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival. I wanted to get a nice 'spring' photo of my kids together. This is our daughters senior year of high school and next year she is moving on to college and will be living in the dorms. I thought it would be nice to get a photo of the kids before she goes. We were here near the end of the seson for tulip flowers. A few days after we were there they 'topped' some of the flowers off. I would like to go back again next year, but sooner in the season and maybe even sooner in the day when there are less people there. :) It was a beautiful sunny day, perfect for taking photos. Hope you enjoy them. :)

The tulips are just so pretty and it looks like a wonderful place to visit. Is there a vase of tulips in your home now? I am so glad you shared these Jan, they are wonderful, thank you! Love Ann xx

  5. The wooden shoe train (I don't know what else to call it) is so unique. The tulips are beautiful. I don't think they grow here in Florida.

  6. I'm new to your blog Jan, so at first I thought, Ohhhhh she went to Holland!~unbelievable! Is that Mt. Raynier in the bkgrd? I can't think of the name, might be getting it confused, it's late and my computer is too slow to look up.
We went through that part of the world when I was about 11 and it is so magical. I loved British Columbia, Wash, Oregon, sigh... so incredible! Thank you for sharing these photos. XO
